Barbara Montrose is our Religious Educator. She was raised in Michigan with her five older brothers and sisters. She moved to Massachusetts in 1998 to attend law school. After graduating law school and practicing law for a short time, she realized that her passion was in education. She joyfully transitioned from attorney to college professor and academic administrator. After a decade in higher education, she became the Director of Capacity and Program Development at the John F. Kennedy Family Service Center, Inc. in Charlestown, Massachusetts, where she was responsible for community outreach, fundraising and volunteer management. In 2014, she moved to New York with her husband. Upon moving to New York, she served as a substitute teacher in White Plains and Port Chester. Barbara took time off from her career for the first year of her daughter’s life, and now serves as our Religious Education Coordinator
